In an attempt to touch the lives of as many children as possible, in
addition to its sponsorship programme, Future For Nepal also funds a
series of community projects.
These projects range from HIV awareness campaigns to street children
programmes to building classrooms in remote villages in Nepal.
FFN's grass-root community projects normally target small, government run
schools within the Kathmandu Valley and are of an infrastructure nature.
These projects range from £100 to £500.
FFN also works with larger Nepalese NGOs, such as Maiti Nepal, Women's
Foundation and Prayas, on national projects. Depending on the size of the
target area, these projects can range from £1000 to £4000.
