With 29% of Nepalese children having no access to primary education, Future For Nepal attempts to overcome this social injustice through its sponsorship programme.
FFN sponsors 31 children on a day and boarding basis to study at Alpha, a private English-medium school in Kathmandu, and 1 child at Campion college.
Although the majority of these children are from single-mother families, each child is chosen on an individual background basis, rather than having to fit a specific criteria. There is no preference given to gender, ethnicity or religious background.
