With 29% of Nepalese children having no access to primary education, Future For Nepal attempts to overcome this social injustice through its sponsorship programme.
Currently, FFN sponsors 29 children on a day and boarding basis to study at Alphas, a private, English-medium school in Kathmandu.
In an attempt to touch the lives of as many children as possible, in addition to its sponsorship programme, Future For Nepal also funds a series of community projects.
These projects range from HIV awareness campaigns to street children programmes to building classrooms in remote villages in Nepal.
Together with student rag organisations, Future For Nepal runs 6 week long fundraising expeditions to Nepal.
These student groups not only face the physical test of a 12 night trek to Everest Base Camp, but also the mental challenge of living and working within a Nepali community for 14 nights.
